litter 2024-TPA: A litter for the american line.
Expecting russian blue and dove, some essex, some dumbo.

details: 28th August - mated (Wham's 3rd attempt), litter due 20th September
17th September - moved into the maternity cage having gained 90g
20th September - litter of 11 born early morning
21st September - a twelfth baby has appeared in the nest
23rd September - the first hints of essex markings are beginning to show
25th September - sadly we have lost a couple of the kittens overnight
26th September - one of the lost babies has reappeared, so she must have been hidden yesterday
21st October - T'Pau has become unwell and requires medication, so will be leaving her babies early
31st October - the litter has developed some patches of staph, this will be due to their immature immune systems, and will have cleared up before they are homed
11th November - the staph is clearing, but they now have a flare up of mites which will be sorted by the ivermectin they've been given. I will not home these until their skin is fully healed.
