18th August - moved into the maternity cage having gained 100g
20th August - a litter of 4 large babies born in the afternoon, all dark eyed and top eared
21st August - I suspect Cracker still has unbirthed babies, these will not be alive, and she will either deliver them or reabsorb over the next few days, thankfully she seems fine in herself
24th August - Cracker has become unwell due to the remains of babies inside her. She needs medication and is not producing milk anymore, so her 4 kittens have travelled to another breeder in Leeds to be fostered by a mum with a new litter. I will update in a few days once it's clear whether they will survive.
25th August - Cracker is back in her normal cage with friends, and is already looking much better
31st August - sadly only 2 of Cracker's babies have survived, both bucks
19th September - I have no pictures to update with, but the boys are growing well and turning into lovely chaps
