18th September - mated, kittens due 11th October
9th October - moved into the nursery cage having gained about 60g
11th October - 9 kittens born early morning
13th October - two of the kittens have markings, which means that roan has been carried from many generations back
19th October - there are three shades of mink, implying perhaps that one is UK, one is american, and one is double
21st October - one of the minks now looks far more like chocolate
23rd October - the paler mink now looks like a dark phase pearl

doe 1 - dark phase pearl, UK mink based
doe 2 - UK mink berkshire (tail marked red), also probably a dark phase pearl

I will be keeping doe 1 (Pearl's a singer) and doe 2 (Nancy with the laughing face) from this litter, but I will also repeat the mating once Ada is ready in the hope of some mink bucks and possibly a double mink next time
