Expecting black, some irish, some silvermane, possibly also some dominant chocolate.

26th December - mated, kittens due 18th January
16th January - moved into the nursery cage, having gained about 60g (assuming my scales were right!)
18th January - 16 kittens born early morning or overnight
28th January - the litter does indeed contain chocolates, so these will be a dominant chocolate gene. There is also one kitten who appears to have a non standard coat type, possibly satin. None have clear irish markings, but some will probably have a few white hairs somewhere to go with their white hands.

From this litter I will be keeping buck 1 (Donovan) in order to monitor how the satin and silvermane genes interact, buck 5 (Mick Jagger) and doe 6 (Marianne Faithful) to preserve dominant chocolate, and also doe 1 (Cher) for her silvermane coat.
